INTEC Acoustics
COST
The network “Soundscape of European Cities and Landscapes” is a European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) Action within the field of Transport and Urban Development (TD0804). It brings together 25 partner institutions from a wide range of disciplines, which perform research on environmental acoustics and soundscapes, providing the underpinning science for future legislation, policy and practice. As COST actions only fund mobility, partners are involved within this network through the exchange of information, organizing workshops/conferences, and by hosting international researchers in short time scientific missions (STSM). The acoustics group of INTEC has hosted already several visiting scholars. Potential (post)doctoral students interested in performing an STSM of a couple of weeks at the acoustics group should contact prof. Dick Botteldooren.
