INTEC Acoustics
ENNAH
ENNAH, the European network on noise and health, is a coordination action under the EC Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). It brings together 33 European research centers to establish future research directions and policy needs for noise and health in Europe. The network mainly focuses on transport noise sources, for which the combined effects of noise and air pollution on health are analyzed. In particular, the acoustics group of INTEC is involved in ENNAH through its research on the improvement of noise exposure estimates for use in health studies. Research topics are the inclusion of time-activity patterns and housing conditions, and the development of exposure indicators that more closely relate to human perception. More information can be found on the project website.
